On May 13th 2022 was declared a day for recollection.it was an event organized for youths from institutions and parishes around Nairobi which entailed spiritual and social activities. Meetings were done physically. Additional consultation and clarification was done online.
Since the venue had been organized the day’s program and meals for the event the committee found it a walk in the park, regarding planning as they had only been left with the task of mobilizing members and ensuring that they are fully set for the event
The committee decided that members would collectively contribute Kshs. 60 each to cater for their meals. The Catalan dance group organized for practice in preparation, the choir group also practiced alongside the KMTC choir for the sake of the holy Eucharistic celebration animation.
On the material day the registered participants met in school at exactly 8am and proceeded to Orsoline Sisters Home using public means as early planed. The program of the day was of ; adoration, word of life, talks, confessions and holly Eucharist celebration. The talks were interactive and some short break session in between the talks. Lunch was provided and holy mass afterwards which finalized the program of the day.
