The Technical University of Kenya Young Christian Students (TUK YCS) held its traditional End of Year Mass Celebration and Night Vigil from 5 PM on December 13th to 6 AM on December 14th, 2024, at the TUK Ladies Hostel, Upper Hill. The Celebrate was Rev Fr Prof Ndikaru Wa Teresia, Our Chaplain. The event was a gathering of continuing students, graduates, and alumni, celebrating a year of achievements and blessings.
Objectives of the Mass/Night Vigil
The night vigil was organized with several key objectives in mind:
- Thanksgiving for divine protection throughout the year.
- Seeking blessings for the festive season.
- Blessings for the graduates.
- Swearing in of the new office for the upcoming year.

Challenges
- Attendance exceeded the number budgeted for, presenting logistical challenges.
- Transportation funding was insufficient; however, a member generously provided a solution by offering personal transport.
Conclusion
The End of Year Mass Celebration and Night Vigil of 2024 was a resounding success. The event saw excellent cooperation and participation throughout the night. The committee expresses its sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this spiritually enriching event.
